As mentioned in my first post, I hope to use my various experiences living as an expat in Frankfurt to provide encouragement, laughter, insight and plain enjoyment, both to fellow expats and others who stumble upon this site.
I'll be updating this in the next few days, but here are the basics:
I grew up in Central Pennsylvania (beautiful!). After graduating from college, I moved to Many Farm, Arizona on the Navajo Indian Reservation (beautiful!) When Igor and I married, we moved to where he grew up: Frankfurt, Germany (well, for a city - beautiful!).
It's been quite an adjustment for me, going from adoring living in a remote area to living in one of Europe's financial centers. And having children has made it all the harder to live far from "home".
However, God is good and provides all I need. This fall I have truly felt at peace and happy with our life here in Frankfurt and also with the probability that this is where we will stay.
